Booking Procedure
Advance Reservations: Safari bookings can be made up to 120 days before your visit.
Details Needed: You’ll need to provide valid government ID details, including name, age, gender, and nationality for each visitor.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the safari date are eligible for a 50% refund.
No refunds are available for cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled safari.
Please Note: Once issued, safari vouchers cannot be transferred or canceled.
Visitor Guidelines
ID Requirement: Bring the same ID used at the time of booking—it’s mandatory for park entry.
Arrival Time: Reach your safari entry gate at least 30 minutes before the start time.
Rules to Follow:
Keep the park clean by using proper waste bins.
Avoid loud noises to protect the natural behavior of wildlife.
Remain inside the vehicle at all times during the safari.
Staying Near the Park
Accommodation inside the park is limited, but you’ll find a range of hotels and resorts just outside the main gates.
Getting There
By Air: The closest airports are in Jabalpur (160 km) and Khajuraho (225 km).
By Train: The nearest railway stations are Umaria (32 km away) and Katni (100 km away).
By Road: Bandhavgarh is well-connected by road, with taxis and buses available from major towns in Madhya Pradesh.
When to Visit
The park remains open from October 15 to June 30 each year. The summer months of April to June are especially good for spotting tigers and other wildlife.

Bandhavgarh is rich in biodiversity:
Animals: Tigers, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, sambar, and other deer species.
Birds: Over 260 bird species, including the Indian grey hornbill and green-headed barbet.
Plants: Around 515 plant species, dominated by dense Sal forests.
